In 2003 the Trophy was awarded to a work of art which had a "water" connection.

The Margaret Huyton Trophy, presented each year to the artwork, which, in the opinion of the judge, is the best one done by an artist who has not been a member for more than three years and can claim to be a novice. The 2003 winner was Graham Savage with his picture “Marianne”.

The Jubilee Trophy, presented to the artwork which the judge has chosen as the overall “Best in Show”. In 2003 the trophy went to Masoud Mottaghi for his picture “Del Duomo, (Florence).
